Chapter 1
On January 1, year 5000 of the Interstellar Calendar, a newborn Zerg male gained consciousness and the ability to think. He possessed an appearance and physique indistinguishable from a human infant. At this time, no one could have known that he would become the first interstellar Zerg male to shake the world in the future.
Who am I?
The male Zerg hatchling, having never been exposed to any of the world's knowledge, had already developed a sense of self.
“My little male Zerg cub.” A warm voice spilled from above.
What is a male Zerg cub?
"My little cub, you must grow up safe and sound. Your mother is busy and can't take care of you for too long.”
He wants to respond...how to communicate with the outside world?
The Zerg male cub pondered, attempting to communicate with the person outside who could provide him with information. His mind was incredibly active, completely focused on how to convey a message.
Suddenly, he caught a spark of inspiration, and his body instinctively radiated an invisible wave of energy.
Psychic power.
This was an innate ability possessed exclusively by Zerg males. Without anyone teaching him, the hatchling had mastered how to use it the moment he developed conscious thought. His psychic field expanded, allowing the hatchling to survey his surroundings.
He was inside an egg. The oval-shaped egg itself was in a room. Near the egg stood a short-haired, robust female Zerg. The Zerg male cub could sense that the female's aura felt deeply familiar; they were related by blood.
Strange, a female Zerg? How could he tell it was female? And what about himself?
His innate consciousness provided him the answer: a male.
“What is the difference between Zerg males and females?” The little Zerg male cub used his psychic power to project questions to the strong woman outside the egg.
“Male Zergs are the rarest sex among the Zergs, making up only four percent of the population. They hold supreme authority within the household. They can marry multiple female Zergs and have them bear offspring for the Zerg race. However, they're physically weak and need protection, so they can't perform strenuous work.”
Supreme authority.
The little Zerg male cub only understood that one phrase.
“The absolute majority of the Zerg race are females. They are born with broad bone structures and immense strength. Most females work in the military. I am a military female. In the distant universe, there are many unknown dangers, and my mission is to eliminate them! All so the Zerg males can live a peaceful, comfortable life.”
Unknown dangers? The Zerg male cub found himself deeply interested.
“And then there are the sub-females, who are barely worth mentioning. They make up about half the number of female Zerg. They handle all the jobs the rest of us don't do. That crowd of sub-females sure love to scheme, spending all day finding ways to take shortcuts and play tricks.”
This female Zerg clearly held some prejudice against sub-females. Perhaps it was because of... competition in courtship.
The little Zerg male cub learned how to think and reason.

My first translated chapter! Hopefully it's readable (feedback and corrections are always welcome!) There are some cultural bits I didn't know how to properly convey in English since some of them sounded weird, so here I go with extra information/notes about the chapter & world-building:
1) The Zerg race has three genders: female, sub-female, and male. This is important to remember since in the original text, the Chinese characters are gendered. For example, in the original text, there was 'Birth Father' and 'Biological Father'. The 'Birth Father' referred to the mother (lol) while the biological father, the actual father (who released the pollen ykwim). The term 'Birth Father' was used to show the alpha/dominant/masculine traits that the mother had. Which leads us to the second point-
2) In this world, the Zerg females are the strong ones. Think of sub-females as the betas. Then males, the pampered consorts. I thought long and hard about the naming convention...Zerg females? Zerg males? ...I didn't know if I should keep it that way, or if I should just say 'males' and 'females' in the future. Repeatedly saying Zerg females or Zerg males sounded weird to me but I thought that it was important to the world building, so I kept it there. Anyway, feedback on this would be good (if you'd like to keep it or change it next time).
